Registered Nurse - PCU

Schedule

Shifts available: Day 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:30) and Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30).

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Progressive Care Unit (PCU). The ideal candidate will have experience providing high-quality nursing care to patients with cardiac and medical needs, ensuring their comfort and safety at all times.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult patients in the PCU.
• Monitor patient vital signs and respond to changes in clinical condition.
• Administer medications and manage IV infusions according to protocols.
• Perform nursing duties including BiPAP/CPAP management, blood product administration, and telemetry monitoring.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Educate patients and families on health maintenance and disease prevention.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a charge nurse role.
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS.
• Valid PA Nursing License or Compact License required at the time of submission.
• Travel experience is required.
