Registered Respiratory Therapist - Night Shift

Night shift: 3x12-Hours (19:00 - 07:30)

Job Description

The Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) will be responsible for providing critical care respiratory therapy to a diverse patient population, including neonates, infants, pediatrics, and adults. The role requires extensive knowledge and hands-on experience in various operational settings such as NICU, PICU, Level 1 Trauma ER, and Med/Surge ICUs.

Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory therapy treatments and diagnostic tests.
• Manage patients requiring mechanical ventilation.
• Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient care.
• Provide patient education and support to families.
• Document patient care accurately in the electronic health record.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a critical care environment.
• Must possess a valid RRT license and certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, PALS.
• Strong experience with all patient age groups is required.
• Preferred experience in Level 4 NICU and adult critical care settings.
