Registered Nurse - Night Shift (3x12 Hours)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team for a night shift position, providing specialized care within an inpatient rehabilitation department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for caring for patients with rehabilitation needs such as CVA, TBI, ABI, and spinal cord injuries.

Responsibilities

• Perform medication administration and patient health assessments
• Conduct vital sign monitoring and patient evaluation for ongoing treatment plans
• Execute dressing changes and assist with aseptic/sterile procedures
• Interpret laboratory results and complete medication reconciliation
• Participate in telephone triage and handle pharmacy calls or patient refill requests
• Manage patient care ratios effectively, maintaining a ratio of 1:6
• Float among Cone Health campuses as needed

Schedule

This is a night shift position (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM), working three 12-hour shifts weekly, with additional coverage required every third weekend and holidays as needed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of RN experience required; acute care rehab experience preferred
• BLS certification is mandatory
• Pass/fail EKG exam is required during compliance
• Must possess a valid RN license and be prepared for background and education verification
• Experience with EPIC charting system is required
