Registered Nurse - ICU Trauma/Surgical/Neurological

This is a night shift position from 7 PM to 7:30 AM.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) specializing in trauma, surgical, and neurological patients. The ideal candidate will possess comprehensive knowledge and experience in managing complex, critically ill patients in a fast-paced environment, particularly in a Trauma Level One setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the ICU.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions and communicate changes timely.
• Implement and evaluate patient care plans, adjusting as necessary.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient documentation.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of ICU experience, particularly in trauma, surgical, and neurological ICUs.
• Valid nursing license in the state of practice.
• Epic experience is required.
• Must pass a competency test within 24 hours of submission.
