Radiologic Technologist - X-Ray Tech

This is a 13-week contract position. The typical shift is Monday - Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with no weekends or holidays required.

Job Description

The Radiologic Technologist will perform a variety of imaging procedures, including pre-operative testing, basic x-ray imaging, EKGs, and starting IVs for modalities that require blood work. The position requires maintaining high standards of patient care and quality imaging.

Responsibilities

• Conduct basic x-ray imaging and MRI procedures.
• Perform pre-operative testing as required.
• Start IVs for blood work related to various modalities.
• Monitor patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in the EPIC EMR system.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS).
• Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) certification.
• Experience in conducting x-ray and MRI procedures is preferred.
• Ability to start IVs and perform EKGs.
