Registered Nurse - Medical-Surgical Unit

Shift: 06:00 PM - 06:30 AM

Job Description

The Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing high-quality care to medical-surgical patients. The role includes rotating holidays, with at least one holiday expected during the assignment. Two RNs will manage the care of medical-surgical patients, and one RN will transition to the emergency room to assist with incoming patients as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to medical-surgical patients.
• Respond to emergencies and provide assistance in the ER as required.
• Monitor patient vital signs and administer medications as prescribed.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient care.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• ACLS, BLS, TNCC, PALS, and NRP certifications are required.
• Trinity Specialty-Specific Competency Testing completion.
• Completion of required health screenings and vaccinations.
• Background check and professional credential verification.
