Registered Nurse - Telemetry Unit

Night Shift: 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30).

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for our telemetry unit. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills and be ready to manage diverse patient cases, primarily focusing on respiratory and cardiac issues.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in a telemetry setting, monitoring cardiac rhythms and vital signs.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Manage and care for IVs, including starting and maintaining IV lines.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Participate in patient education and discharge planning.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active PA or Compact RN license.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required.
• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience, preferably in telemetry.
• Experience with Cerner charting system.
• Ability to float to various units as needed.
• Required to work every other weekend.
