Registered Nurse - Night Shift (7 PM - 7 AM)

Night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM, with rotating weekends and holidays.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse will provide high-quality patient care, ensuring safety and effective treatment. Duties include performing nursing assessments, creating individualized care plans, and working closely with interdisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments within 8 hours of patient admission.
• Develop individualized plans of care based on assessments and patient needs.
• Provide timely patient information and status updates for team conferences.
• Participate in the rehabilitation program and deliver direct patient care through the nursing process.
• Initiate discharge planning and patient education from the day of admission.
• Communicate effectively regarding changes in patient status to ensure continuity of care.
• Supervise and provide direction to ancillary nursing personnel.
• Engage in team-building activities to foster a positive work environment.
• Maintain a proactive approach to safety and risk management.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• BLS Certification required prior to the first shift.
• ACLS Certification required prior to the first shift (specific to certain locations).
• Minimum of two (2) years of bedside clinical experience is highly desired.
