Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) for our Med/Surg unit. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in acute medical/surgical nursing, with the ability to efficiently manage multiple patients. You will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care while ensuring effective communication within the healthcare team. This role includes a combination of standard nursing duties and may involve occasional rotations on weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered care for a maximum of 6 patients at a time.
• Perform standard nursing skills such as IV insertions, urinary catheter insertions, and medication administration.
• Document patient care and related information in the electronic health record (EHR).
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient management.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active RN license.
• Minimum of 1 year of acute med/surg experience within the last year; 2+ years preferred.
• Experience in ortho or neuro-surgery preferred but not required.
