Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Medical/Surgical Unit in a 225 bed specialty care hospital. The ideal candidate will possess critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, stressful environment. Responsibilities include providing high-quality patient care, assisting with medical treatments, and collaborating with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, evidence-based nursing care to adult and geriatric patients.
• Administer medications and monitor patient vitals.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement patient-centered care plans.
• Utilize telemetry monitors and various medical equipment safely and effectively.
• Participate in training and orientation of new staff as needed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN license in the state of Michigan.
• ACLS certification required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a medical/surgical nursing role preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) required.
