X-Ray Technologist

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

4x10-Hour Shift: Monday to Thursday from 12:30 PM to 11:00 PM. On-call required for 3 shifts per month.

Job Description

As an X-Ray Technologist, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging examinations, ensuring quality images for physician interpretation, and maintaining safety standards for patients and staff. This position requires proficiency in a variety of radiographic procedures and a commitment to patient care.

Responsibilities

• Conduct various imaging procedures including but not limited to abdomen, spine, pelvis, and extremities.
• Prepare and administer contrast media as necessary, following safety protocols.
• Ensure compliance with radiation safety standards and protocols.
• Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation using Epic charting system.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide quality patient care and support.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• ARRT certification required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• State license (Oregon) required.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a clinical setting is preferred.
• Proficient in the use of Epic charting system.
