Multimodality Tech (X-Ray & CT) - Hybrid Role

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Friday-Sunday, including two 12-hour day shifts (06:30 - 19:00) and one 12-hour night shift (19:30 - 07:00). On-call rotation is required among staff.

Job Description

The Multimodality Tech will perform CT scans and radiographic exams, producing computerized tomographic scans and diagnostic radiographs of designated anatomical areas according to established practices and procedures. This role requires obtaining patient history, explaining routine procedures, and addressing patient concerns.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT scans and radiographic exams.
• Produce diagnostic radiographs and CT scans as directed.
• Obtain and assess patient history and concerns.
• Explain procedures to patients and assist in their comfort and understanding.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of one year of experience as a registered Radiological Technologist and Computed Tomography.
• ARRT (R) (CT) and SCRQSA (R) (CT) certifications are required.
• Current CPR and BLS certifications are necessary.
• Completion of an AMA approved school of radiological technology is required.
• Must possess a valid SC Radiation Quality Standards Association license.
