6:30 AM - 7:00 PM, currently 3 shifts per week

Job Description

The Clinical Nurse performs a variety of nursing care procedures requiring professional knowledge and consideration of specific patient conditions and treatments. The nurse must be able to work independently in completing assignments according to physician's orders, standards of care, nursing policies and procedures manuals, and hospital policies. Duties include supporting individuals of all ages and their families through various nursing interventions.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care through various nursing procedures.
• Implement nursing interventions based on individual patient assessments.
• Collaborate with medical staff to develop and adjust care plans.
• Educate patients and their families about health conditions and treatments.
• Document patient care and responses to treatments accurately and timely.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a nurse in an acute or sub-acute facility.
• Valid, current, full, and unrestricted Nursing License to practice in any state of the USA.
• Current certifications:
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) from the American Heart Association
  • Complete Trauma Care After Resuscitation (TCAR) within six months of hire
  • National Institutes of Health (NIH) NIH Stroke Scale must be completed within six months of hire
