Rotating shifts: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30) and Day 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:30). Must be available to work at least every other holiday.

Job Description

Join the team as a Critical Care Registered Nurse specializing in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU). This role requires a dedicated professional to provide high-quality care for critically ill patients. The nurse will work within a dynamic hospital setting, managing complex health conditions and supporting patient recovery through effective nursing interventions.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients in the CVICU.
• Monitor vital signs and assess patient conditions accurately.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Educate patients and families regarding health conditions and care procedures.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum 18 months of permanent experience in a critical care specialty, specifically CVICU.
• Active Ohio RN license or Compact State license required.
• Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS.
• Travel experience will be accepted for experience verification.
• Must pass ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation.
