Registered Nurse (RN) - Intensive Care Unit (ICU)

Night shift 3x12 hours (19:00 - 07:30)

Job Description

The Registered Nurse (RN) will provide critical care to patients in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), managing complex medical conditions including vent weaning, wound care, and spinal cord injuries. RNs will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team and will be required to float between the ICU and Med-Surg units as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform assessments, develop care plans, and implement patient care in the ICU.
• Monitor and manage patient treatments and medications, including IV therapy and ventilator support.
• Educate patients and families on health management and discharge planning.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to ensure cohesive patient care.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient health and progress using EPIC EMR.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience in an ICU or critical care setting.
• Current South Carolina RN license required.
• ACLS and BLS certifications are mandatory.
• At least 1 year of experience using EPIC EMR.
