Job Description

The Neonatal Intensive Care Transport Specialist provides critical care transport for neonates, ensuring safe and efficient transport while managing complex medical conditions. The position requires proficiency in neonatal airway management, ventilator operation, and transport physiology.

Responsibilities

• Perform bag-mask ventilation and secure advanced airways.
• Assist with line placements and transport stabilization.
• Conduct point-of-care testing such as ABG and glucose monitoring.
• Manage equipment during transport, including isolette systems and safety protocols.
• Provide clear team communication and efficient patient handoffs.
• Document all transport events, interventions, and patient assessments accurately.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years NICU Transport experience.
• Required Certifications: RRT/CRT, NRP, PALS; STABLE preferred.
• Proficiency in transport ventilator management and neonatal critical care.
