Radiation Therapist

This is a day shift position, working 8-hour shifts from 08:00 to 17:00, Monday through Friday.

Job Description

The Radiation Therapist will deliver high-quality patient care while administering radiation therapy treatments. The candidate should possess True Beams experience and be able to effectively use clinical tools and technologies required for this role.

Responsibilities

• Administer radiation therapy treatments under the guidance of a physician.
• Utilize True Beams technology to create custom molds and shields.
• Calculate doses of radiation and ensure patient safety and comfort.
• Maintain patient records and document treatments using the EPIC charting system.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members.

Required Experience / Certifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a related role.
• ARRT and BLS certifications are required.
• Graduation from an accredited Radiation Therapy Technology Program is mandatory.
• EPIC experience is required.
