LTAC/Telemetry Registered Nurse

Job Description

The LTAC/Telemetry Registered Nurse is accountable for providing exceptional care to patients by utilizing the Nursing Process in alignment with the state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies. This role requires critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, and effective leadership in planning and delivering safe patient care. The nurse will maintain clinical competencies through ongoing education and direct the patient care priorities based on team members' qualifications and experiences.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care by utilizing the Nursing Process
• Demonstrate critical thinking and scientific judgment in care delivery
• Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education
• Delegate patient care priorities and supervise assigned personnel

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 2 to 5 years of nursing experience required
• Must have ACLS & BLS certifications (from the American Heart Association)
• Vent/trach experience is required
• 2 years recent Tele/LTAC experience in a hospital setting
• Current Indiana or multi-state compact RN license

Shift: 07:00-19:00
