Medical/Surgical Registered Nurse - Nights

Schedule

This is a 36-hour per week position with 12-hour shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM. The role requires working one weekend shift per week or two weekend shifts every other weekend. Must also work at least one holiday during the contract period.

Job Description

This position is within the Medical/Surgical unit, specializing in Colorectal and Bariatrics. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients in an acute care setting.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor patient health and update care plans as necessary.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and families regarding care plans and health management.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in acute medical-surgical/telemetry nursing.
• 2 years of U.S. work experience required for non-U.S. candidates.
• Active New York RN License.
• AHA BLS certification.

Assignment Duration

This is a 16-week contract position.
