Registered Nurse (RN) - Med Surg Float

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Shift: 07:00 PM - 07:30 AM (7:00 PM to 7:30 AM) & Every Other Weekend (EOW)

Job Description

The Registered Nurse (RN) will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care across various medical-surgical floors, including Orthopedics, Med-Surg, Neurology Step Down, Oncology, Surgical Telemetry, and Medical-Surgical Telemetry. The RN will also float to the WestLakes Campus as needed, approximately 9.5 miles from the downtown area.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient care based on established protocols and guidelines.
• Administer medications and perform treatments according to physician orders.
• Monitor patient conditions and make necessary adjustments to care plans.
• Assist with patient education and discharge planning.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN license and certification in the state of practice.
• Ability to float to various medical-surgical specialties as needed.
• Completion of required health screenings and vaccinations.
