Job Description

The CT Technologist participates in various assigned tasks related to imaging technology and is responsible for performing diagnostic quality procedures in a safe manner, following guidelines set by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology in Computerized Tomography.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic CT imaging procedures.
• Ensure safety and compliance with established protocols and standards.
• Maintain imaging equipment and report any malfunctions.
• Work collaboratively with healthcare teams to provide quality patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Graduate from an imaging technology program approved by licensing bodies.
• Licensed by the Oregon Board of Medical Imaging (OBMI) in radiography.
• Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in radiography.
• Licensed in CT by the OBMI or registered in CT by ARRT.
• BLS certification from the AHA within 90 days of hire is required.
• Experience with GE and Toshiba/Canon imaging machines preferred.
