Job Description

Join a committed team of healthcare professionals at a community hospital dedicated to providing comprehensive medical services, including cardiology, orthopedics, obstetrics, gynecology, and more. The Acute Care unit, featuring 23 inpatient beds, is looking for a registered nurse to deliver exceptional patient care while maintaining a positive work environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, patient-centered nursing care in the Acute Care unit.
• Manage patient assessments, develop care plans, and implement interventions.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team for optimal patient outcomes.
• Monitor and document patient progress utilizing the Cerner documentation system.
• Adhere to unit-specific policies and guidelines.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN license in North Carolina.
• BLS certification required; ACLS is highly desirable.
• Experience in an acute care setting preferred.
• Ability to handle a patient ratio of 1:6 during night shifts.
