Cardiac Registered Nurse

Schedule

07:00 PM - 07:30 AM, 36 hours per week, every other weekend and holiday.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Cardiac Registered Nurse with expertise in handling cardiac drips such as amiodarone and cardizem. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience with stroke patients and proficiency in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS).

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage patients receiving cardiac medications.
• Conduct assessments and develop nursing care plans for stroke patients.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to provide optimal patient care.
• Educate patients and families about cardiac conditions and treatment plans.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active Registered Nurse license.
• Experience with cardiac drips, particularly amiodarone and cardizem.
• Current BLS and ACLS certification.
• NIH Stroke Scale certification.
• Experience working with stroke patients.
