Registered Nurse - Flex RN Float

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and adaptable Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team as a Flex RN Floater. In this role, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive nursing care across various medical and surgical units. Candidates must possess a current State of Hawaii nursing license by the start of the assignment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care to patients in diverse medical and surgical settings.
• Float between Medical Unit, Laulima Unit, and occasionally Cardiovascular Unit as needed.
• Utilize Meditech EMR, Pyxis, and other medical equipment competently.
• Adhere to nursing protocols and ensure compliance with documented proof of immunity.

Schedule

This position requires 12-hour shifts during the day, scheduled from 0645 to 1915, totaling 36 hours per week post-orientation. Please note that there is no guarantee of hours.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 2-10 years of nursing experience required.
• Current Hawaii RN License mandatory by start date.
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS (PALS, Procedural Sedation, TNCC, ENPC preferred).
• Experience with various medical equipment such as wound vacs and chest tubes.
