Registered Respiratory Therapist - Night Shift

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist to provide exceptional respiratory care and diagnostic procedures for cardiopulmonary patients of all ages and acuity levels, including Level 2 NICU. The ideal candidate must possess excellent critical care and ventilator skills, along with neonatal and pediatric experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care and diagnostic procedures for diverse patient populations.
• Manage and care for patients requiring ventilatory support.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team rounds and patient care discussions.
• Administer medications and treatments as required for respiratory conditions.
• Educate patients and families regarding respiratory health and treatments.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have NBRC RRT; CRT will not be considered.
• Completion of an approved Respiratory Therapy program as mandated by licensure.
• Valid Colorado Registered Respiratory Therapist license in good standing (DORA).
• Current American Heart Association certifications (BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP) - all required.
• Minimum of 5 years of respiratory therapy experience.
• Experience in Level 2 NICU, as well as pediatric care, is necessary.

Schedule

Work 3-12-hour night shifts, with call responsibilities as needed.
