PCU / Step down Registered Nurse - 12-hour Nights

Schedule

This position requires working night shifts, consisting of three 12-hour shifts per week, totaling 36 hours.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse will provide comprehensive care to patients during night shifts. Responsibilities include administering medications, monitoring vitals, and supporting patient needs to ensure optimal care outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications as prescribed.
• Monitor and document patient vitals and responses to treatment.
• Provide support with daily activities to enhance patient comfort.
• Communicate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care.
• Educate patients and families about care plans and health management.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Previous experience in a clinical setting preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
