Cath Lab Technician - Day Shift - 13 Weeks Contract

3x12 hour shifts (06:30 - 19:00) with on-call requirements including weekends and holidays.

Job Description

The Cath Lab Technician will be responsible for assisting with various cardiac procedures in the catheterization lab. This role demands strong attention to detail and proficiency in operating specialized imaging equipment while ensuring patient comfort and safety.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic and interventional catheterizations.
• Prepare and maintain a sterile field for procedures.
• Assist in the placement and management of cardiac devices.
• Interpret dysrhythmias and respond to emergency situations.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide effective patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 1 year of recent and strong cath lab experience is required; first-time travelers are accepted.
• Certifications: ARRT-R and/or RCIS, BLS, ACLS.
• Ability to handle on-call responsibilities, approximately 8 weeknights and 4 weekend 24-hour shifts every 6 weeks.
