Registered Nurse - Intensive Care Unit

Night Shift: 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00)

Job Description

The Pre-Screen Unit is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to provide high-quality care in the Intensive Care Unit. The candidate will be reviewed by clinical staff to ensure clinical fit and must pass the clinical screen before being forwarded to the manager for a final decision. This role includes the care of adult patients, with possible exposure to COVID-19 patients in a tobacco and fragrance-free facility.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients in the ICU.
• Manage arterial lines, central lines, and ventilated patients.
• Administer emergency medications and blood products as needed.
• Interpret arterial blood gases and monitor dysrhythmias.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including IV teams, respiratory services, and pharmacy.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an ICU setting.
• Current certifications in ACLS and BLS required.
• Experience with Epic charting system is heavily preferred.
• Charge experience is preferred.
