Registered Nurse - Cardiac Telemetry (Night Shift)

Schedule

Night shift, 3x12 hour schedule (19:00 - 07:30) with weekend and holiday rotation.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse specializing in Cardiac Telemetry to join our team. The RN will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a progressive care unit with a focus on cardiac monitoring and telemetry.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry, including dysrhythmias.
• Manage peripheral lines, PICC lines, and titrate drips as necessary.
• Conduct assessments and administer medications as per established protocols.
• Provide wound care and management, including assistance with wound vacs.
• Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and care planning for patients.
• Adhere to infection control policies and isolation precautions.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 2 years of recent nursing experience, with emphasis on cardiac telemetry.
• Current RN licensure and required certifications (ACLS, BLS, NIHSS).
• Experience with management and interpretation of dysrhythmias.
• Familiarity with Epic charting system.
