Night shift from 11:00 PM to 7:30 AM.

Job Description

Join a dynamic team providing psychiatric care for adults in a secure environment. Our unit focuses on managing and treating patients with various diagnoses, including schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, and substance abuse, all while ensuring safe and compassionate care.

Responsibilities

• Monitor patient conditions and provide direct patient care.
• Conduct safety checks and observe patients regularly.
• Assist with daily living activities and support nursing staff as needed.
• Perform blood glucose checks and 1:1 patient monitoring as required.
• Participate in patient care planning and execute care interventions.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have at least 1 year of psychiatric nursing experience.
• Required certifications: BLS, Certified Patient Care Technician, and De-escalation Training.
• No IV experience is necessary as this unit does not manage IVs.
