X-ray Technologist

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Day shift, specifically Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 08:00 - 20:30.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled X-ray Technologist to provide exceptional patient care in a dynamic hospital environment. The role requires experience in surgical settings and proficiency with fluoro and O-arm equipment. On-call responsibilities are part of the position, along with the need to work weekends.

Responsibilities

• Performing a variety of X-ray procedures in accordance with established protocols.
• Ensuring adherence to safety standards and protocols while using radiation equipment.
• Collaborating with the surgical team during procedures.
• Maintaining accurate records and documentation in the Epic charting system.
• Providing patient-centered care and explaining procedures to patients to alleviate anxiety.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of hospital experience, including surgery and fluoro.
• Current ARRT certification and BLS certification are required.
• Experience with O-arm and understanding patient safety protocols.
• Strong proficiency with the Epic charting system is preferred.
