X-Ray Technician - Night Shift

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

This position requires a rotating schedule from 6 PM to 7 AM.

Job Description

The X-Ray Technician will perform and provide appropriate imaging and treatment processes in accordance with state, federal, and professional guidelines. Responsibilities include maintaining all equipment for procedures, assessing safety, and ensuring the physical and physiological comfort of the patient.

Responsibilities

• Perform imaging and treatment processes according to established guidelines.
• Maintain and troubleshoot imaging equipment.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures.
• Monitor the need for procedure revisions and coordinate daily imaging procedures.
• Complete other duties as assigned.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• A minimum of 1-3 years of experience as an X-Ray Technician.
• Demonstrated knowledge of various imaging equipment, including setup, utilization, troubleshooting, and care.
• Current knowledge of trends and advances in clinical practice and healthcare informatics.
• ARRT certification and a current NJ State RT License are required.
• BLS certification is required.
