Job Description

The Registered Nurse (RN) in Surgery is responsible for delivering high-quality patient care within the surgical setting. The RN will provide preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative care to patients undergoing surgical procedures. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care before, during, and after surgical procedures.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and manage stable medical conditions.
• Assist in developing and implementing nursing care plans.
• Communicate effectively with surgical teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families regarding surgical processes and postoperative care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Completion of Basic Pharmacology Exam and Basic Rhythm Interpretation Screening.
• Successful completion of required health screenings and immunizations.
• Preferred experience in surgical nursing or related specialty.
