Job Description

Join our dedicated team at an acute inpatient rehabilitation facility, where your skills will directly impact patients recovering from conditions such as stroke, brain and spinal-cord injuries, amputations, and complex orthopedic injuries. The LPN role involves providing high-quality nursing care for adults requiring inpatient rehabilitation services, often dealing with high acuity needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the inpatient rehab setting.
• Collaborate with nursing staff and C.N.A.s to ensure patient safety and comfort.
• Monitor and document patient progress using electronic health records.
• Respond to patient call lights promptly, attending to needs effectively.
• Assist with mobility and other rehabilitation activities according to established care plans.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience in skilled nursing or a 24/7 skilled care environment.
• BLS certification required.
• Experience in Med Surg or inpatient rehabilitation preferred, particularly in high-acuity settings.
