Post Procedural Nurse

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Shift: 07:00 AM - 07:30 PM. For day shifts, the nurse may work up to 3 Saturdays during a 6-week schedule. The facility is closed on Sundays. Holiday shifts will be assessed individually based on surgical volumes.

Job Description

The role involves primarily caring for post procedural patients who stay 1-3 nights after their surgeries. The nurse may also handle cath lab patients and some emergency room overflow as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care to post procedural patients.
• Monitor patients' recovery and respond to their needs.
• Assist with the care of cath lab patients and emergency overflow as required.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to enhance patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active nursing license required.
• Completion of all onboarding health and safety requirements.
