Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Medical Surgical RN to join our team. The successful candidate will provide quality nursing care to patients in a 32-bed unit, focusing on adults and geriatric patients. This role requires ability to work effectively in high-pressure situations, along with the flexibility to float to similar units within the scope based on facility needs.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor and record patient vital signs and changes in patient condition.
• Provide care for patients with a range of conditions, including feeding tube management and wound care.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure the highest level of patient care.
• Maintain patient records and documentation using the EPIC system.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a medical-surgical setting.
• Current BLS certification; CPI preferred.
• Experience with patient ratios of 1:6.
