This is a night shift position working 3x12-hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:00, requiring availability every weekend and one additional day during the week.

Job Description

The NICU Registered Nurse will provide care in a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, including couplet care for mothers and infants. Responsibilities include working with micro preemies and high-frequency ventilation while maintaining an optimal patient-to-nurse ratio of 1:2.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care to NICU patients, including micro preemies.
• Float between multiple facilities as required, based on patient census and staffing needs.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to coordinate patient care.
• Maintain patient safety and comfort during treatment and procedures.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 2-3 years of experience in a Level III NICU setting.
• Current BLS and NRP certifications.
• Active NJ or Compact RN license; must not be pending.
• Epic charting system experience is preferred.
