Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Labor & Delivery unit. The ideal candidate will have experience with high acuity newborns and will be proficient in Basic and Advanced Fetal Monitoring, as well as adhering to AWHONN guidelines. This position involves working with expectant mothers through antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum care.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to mothers and newborns during the perinatal period.
• Monitor fetal heart rates and maternal vital signs using EFM systems.
• Administer medications and titrate IV drips as required.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure quality care and patient safety.
• Participate in charge responsibilities as needed.
• Circulate and recover patients from Cesarean sections, if preferred.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Basic Fetal Monitoring and Advanced Fetal Monitoring certifications required.
• Experience in Labor & Delivery and familiarity with high acuity newborn care.
• Knowledge of AWHONN guidelines is essential.
• BLS Certification.
