Schedule

AM shift from 7am to 5pm on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday (no call).

Job Description

The X-Ray Technician will perform and provide appropriate imaging and treatment processes in accordance with state, federal, and professional guidelines. This role includes maintaining all equipment for procedures, assessing safety, and monitoring the physical and physiological comfort of patients.

Responsibilities

• Perform imaging and treatment processes according to guidelines.
• Maintain equipment for procedures and assess safety.
• Monitor procedure revisions and coordinate daily imaging procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 1-3 years of experience as an X-Ray Technician.
• Must demonstrate knowledge of a variety of imaging equipment including setup, utilization, troubleshooting, and proper care of all equipment.
• Current New Jersey State RT License.
• ARRT certification.
• BLS certification.
• Must have a minimum of 18 months of experience in the field and familiarity with GE equipment.
• Must be comfortable in the OR and able to work independently in a 900-bed facility.
