Night shift, 3-12 hour shifts, 7pm-7am

Job Description

The Critical Care Registered Nurse will provide patient care in the Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU) and will be required to float to all 3 ICUs and EDs for holds. Candidates must possess strong clinical skills and be adept at managing critically ill patients.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care for critically ill patients.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, communicate with healthcare team members, and coordinate care.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Document patient assessments and interventions accurately.
• Float to other departments as required.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• A minimum of 18 months recent critical care/ICU experience is required.
• MUST have 18 months of permanent ICU experience prior to travel.
• Active Ohio license or compact state license in hand is required at the time of submission.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required; NIH Stroke Scale certification preferred.
• Two references from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty are required to qualify for submission.
