ICU Nurse - Neurology Specialty

Schedule

Night shift from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM, with self-scheduling and unit needs requiring 6 weekend shifts per period.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced ICU Nurse to join our team in the neurology unit. Ideal candidates will possess strong ICU backgrounds with a focus on neurology. This position involves caring for patients post thrombectomy, TPA, and neurosurgery.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care to neurology patients in the ICU.
• Monitor patients using advanced medical equipment, including CRRT, bedside EVDs, and A-line monitoring.
• Assist in the administration of treatments and medications as prescribed.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current ACLS and BLS certifications are mandatory.
• ICU experience is required.
• Neurology experience in ICU settings is preferred.
