Schedule

Day shift, 5 days a week from 08:00 AM to 05:00 PM, with some weekend coverage required.

Job Description

The Inpatient Rehabilitation Therapist will provide specialized rehabilitation services to adult and geriatric patients. Responsibilities include assessing patient needs, developing and implementing treatment plans, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes in a supportive environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for patients with various diagnoses including CVA, TBI, and spinal cord injuries.
• Implement and monitor therapeutic interventions such as biofeedback, electrical stimulation, and exercise programs.
• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams including physical therapy, respiratory services, and social services.
• Maintain accurate documentation and charting using the Epic system.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 1 year of experience in inpatient rehabilitation required.
• Current certifications: BLS, NBCOT.
• Valid New Mexico state license (NM pending accepted).
