Job Description

The Respiratory Therapist provides treatment, care, and evaluation for patients with respiratory insufficiencies, including conditions such as asthma, pneumonia, and emphysema. The unit is well-equipped with oxygen cylinders, nebulizers, suction machines, CPAP & BIPAP machines, V60, Servo-1, and Servo-U for high flow treatments.

Responsibilities

• Provide treatment and care for patients with respiratory conditions.
• Evaluate patient respiratory status and treatment efficacy.
• Utilize medical equipment such as nebulizers and CPAP/BIPAP machines.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• NBRC certification
• Active RT License
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certification
• 2 years of current acute care hospital RRT experience
• Previous travel assignment experience preferred
