Surgical Technician - Labor and Delivery

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

This position requires any 3 × 12 hour shifts, amounting to 36 hours per week with 12-hour shifts from 0640-1840 or 1840-0640. The schedule includes a rotating requirement of 50/50 nights and days, with 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule.

Job Description

We treat a wide range of patients, from low-risk pregnancies to high-risk situations, providing our staff with extensive learning opportunities. In addition to labor and delivery and gynecological experiences, our surgical technicians play a vital role in innovative intrauterine procedures for fetal therapy.

Responsibilities

• Scrub cesarean sections and other obstetric procedures including cerclages, external cephalic versions, and bilateral salpingectomies.
• Assist in delivering quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.
