Surgical Technologist - Travel Position

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Mon-Fri, with shifts available in the following options:

• Option A: 5x8 hour shifts (6:45am - 3:15pm)
• Option B: 2x8 hour shifts and 2x12 hour shifts (varied timings)

Call requirements include one weekday call shift from 7pm to 7am every two weeks, and one 48-hour weekend call every eight weeks, with a 30-minute response time.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Surgical Technologist to join our team. The role involves providing surgical assistance in various specialties, including ophthalmology, ENT, orthopedics, podiatry, urology, robotics general surgery, gynecology, bariatrics, thoracic, neuro-spine, and OB coverage for C-Sections.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing surgical instruments and the operating room.
• Perform scrub duties for surgical procedures.
• Support surgical teams during operations across multiple specialities.
• Ensure all necessary supplies and equipment are available and sterile.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Certification as a Surgical Technologist is required.
• Minimum experience in an operating room setting preferred.
