Registered Nurse - OR Surgery

Schedule

Shift: 06:30 - 15:00, with weekend hours every other week as needed. Call requirements may extend to 10-11 days each month.

Job Description

The role involves providing nursing care in the surgical department, ensuring that patients receive high-quality medical treatment during their surgical procedures. You will be responsible for monitoring patients, managing pre-operative and post-operative care, and collaboration with the surgical team.

Responsibilities

• Assist and manage surgical procedures
• Coordinate with surgical teams for optimal patient outcomes
• Monitor patient vitals and recovery progress
• Provide guidance and support to pre-operative patients

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must be a licensed Registered Nurse in New Mexico
• ACLS, BLS, PALS required
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a surgical setting is preferred
• Travel experience is a plus, but not required
