Schedule

The Respiratory Therapist will work a rotating schedule with day shifts from 0645 to 0715 and night shifts from 1845 to 0715, with every other weekend required.

Job Description

The Respiratory Therapist will provide respiratory care to patients primarily in inpatient settings, including adults, children, and neonates. Responsibilities include conducting breathing treatments, managing ventilators, drawing and running ABGs, and performing EKGs. The position requires collaboration with a lead therapist or supervisor for clinical guidance.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory treatments and therapy to patients of all ages.
• Manage ventilators and provide necessary care for patients on respiratory support.
• Perform EKGs and other necessary diagnostic procedures.
• Assist in intubations as necessary.
• Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure optimal patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Certification as a Respiratory Therapist (CRT or RRT preferred).
• Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, NRP, PALS, and STABLE.
• Experience in ER, ICU, and adult inpatient care; pediatric experience preferred but training is available.
