Operating Room Registered Nurse - 10 Hour Shifts

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Four 10-hour shifts from 6:45 AM to 5:15 PM. Call required for nights and weekends.

Job Description

The Operating Room team consists of 3 OR suites and 1 procedure room, handling a varied number of cases each day. Primarily focused on total joints and other surgical procedures, the environment is innovative with a commitment to quality care.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the operating room setting.
• Assist in preoperative and postoperative processes.
• Maintain a sterile environment and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
• Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure optimal surgical outcomes.
• Manage patient care effectively during all phases of surgery.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current Registered Nurse License.
• ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required.
• Previous OR experience preferred; first-time travelers considered with strong experience.
• Ability to respond and engage within 30 minutes during call hours.
