Schedule

4x10 hours shifts, 7:30 AM - 6:00 PM. Holidays as needed with on-call requirements approximately once per week and every 6-7th weekend.

Job Description

The Interventional Radiology Nurse will deliver nursing practices according to the latest evidence-based research, nursing policies, and standards of care. The role focuses on providing safe and individualized patient care.

Responsibilities

• Maintain ongoing communication with patients, nursing colleagues, and other healthcare team members regarding patient status and treatment plans.
• Administer medications using the latest bar-scanning and documentation technologies for safe delivery.
• Document patient assessments, plans of care, interventions, and evaluations electronically at the point of care.
• Provide patient and family-centered education to optimize health and disease management.
• Facilitate multidisciplinary discharges to ensure safe transitions in care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 2-3 years of Interventional Radiology experience.
• Acute care experience, including titration of drips and managing patients on ventilators.
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS.
• Must possess a valid New Jersey State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license.
• Minimum six (6) months of relevant nursing experience is required.
