Shift: 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM (40 hours per week)

Job Description

The Registered Nurse is responsible for evaluating patients and assisting physicians with patient care. This role involves planning, implementing, and documenting nursing care based on patient needs as well as identifying patient priorities through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Develop and coordinate individualized care plans based on ongoing assessments.
• Initiate assessments based on patient needs, physician diagnoses, and functional health frameworks.
• Perform therapeutic nursing interventions and manage patient care.
• Document care based on standards of practice and patient acuity.
• Advocate for evidence-based practice and support innovations in care delivery.
• Provide patient-centric care aligned with professional nursing standards.
• Other duties as assigned.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in an acute hospital setting.
• At least 2 years of critical care, pre-op, and Recovery/PACU experience required.
• Strong background in Telemetry; must be telemetry certified.
• New Jersey State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications from AHA required.
